• Adult Swim expands to 8pm permanently starting on this day. With the expansion, Adult Swim added landscape bumps in the early hours of the block. The landscape bumps would eventually be broadcast along with the black and white text bumps. The block now runs for 10 hours; 8pm-6am.

• For this year's April Fool's prank, Adult Swim aired the series finale of Perfect Hair Forever, having aired exactly 7 years after the last new episode of Perfect Hair Forever. Afterwards, there was a marathon of Space Ghost Coast to Coast to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the show, with episodes chosen by the creators, including the rarely shown uncut episode "Fire Ant". Bumpers featured animated bloopers of the show.
