The bumpers were also in Japanese with English subtitles, including the video game review of Nier: Automata. This broke the block's policy of only airing dubbed anime. The following shows were pushed back to 2:45am, and the same episodes were aired the following week, but in English. The block aired until 6am, which hasn't happened since 2015. The logo was changed to [アダルトスイム] that night.

  • For their second prank, Adult Swim aired Bushworld Adventures, an Australian-themed parody of the popular series Rick and Morty created by Michael Cusack. It premiered at 11:00 p.m., and aired on loop 3 more times until midnight, airing instead of the originally scheduled shows Rick and Morty and Mike Tyson Mysteries. All of Adult Swim's nature-themed bumpers that aired throughout the hour were Australian-themed. The short also streamed on a loop on Adult Swim's website.
