Adventure Time is an American animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The series was produced by Cartoon Network Studios and Frederator Studios, and ran from April 2010 to September 2018. The series follows the adventures of a boy named Finn and his best friend and adoptive brother Jake, a dog with the magical power to change size and shape at will. Finn and Jake live in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo, where they interact with Princess Bubblegum, the Ice King, Marceline, BMO and others. Despite being aimed at children from 2-11 years old, the series was on Adult Swim for one month in February 2019, but shortly stopped airing on the network.
