William Sanford Nye is an American science communicator, television presenter and former mechanical engineer. He is best known as the host of the science education television show Bill Nye the Science Guy (1993–1999). In Smiling Friends episode Pim Finally Turns Green, he appears to sing a song about not fearing death to Rotten the snowman in a hot air balloon, unfortunately his hot air balloon crashes into electrical burning him alive.
