Children who Chase Lost Voices is a 2011 Japanese anime film created and directed by Makoto Shinkai, the film is his longest animation film to date and is described as a "lively" animated film with adventure, action, and romance centered on a cheerful and spirited girl on a journey to say "farewell". The film was released in Japan on May 7, 2011.

It aired on Toonami on November 6, 2016 becoming the 11th movie to air on the block, and the first since Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan on December 21, 2014. It aired at 3AM (Eastern) as a special for Daylight Savings Time.
