Conan Christopher O'Brien (Born April 18, 1963) is an American television host, comedian, writer, producer, musician and voice actor. He is primarily recognized for having hosted the late-night talk show Late Night with Conan O'Brien on the American network NBC from September 13, 1993 to February 20, 2009. At that time, he replaced Jay Leno as host of The Tonight Show (The most watched late-night talk show in the United States) on the same network. However, NBC decided to fire Conan in early 2010, arguing that the audience had dropped too much since his appearance, although other versions indicate that his dismissal responded to political decisions by the network. Currently, he hosts the Late Show Conan, broadcast on TBS, which has received numerous awards.
