Cree Summer Francks (b.1969), known professionally as Cree Summer is an Americanactress and voice actress, who is known for playing the role of Winifred "Freddie" Brooks in The Cosby Show spin-off A Different World, from 1988 through its end in 1993. She is also the original voice for Penny in the animated series Inspector Gadget.
She reprises the role of Penny twice in Robot Chicken.
