Flying Memory (フラメモ, Fura Memo) is the first episode of FLCL Alternative, and the 13th of the FLCL series.

Plot

Kana Koumoto is a seventeen year old girl, who one day meets a mysterious pink haired woman who tells her "Seventeen won't wait," and her and her friends, Mossan, Pets and Hijiri decide to build a bottle rocket.

Notes

This episode aired for Adult Swim's annual April Fools' Day stunt, with English subtitles, ahead the premiere of the first episode of the second season.
The dub of the episode was premiered at San Diego Comic Con during the Adult Swim State Park.

Goofs

Originally the word on the side of the bottle rocket is "UNIVERE" before being replaced by "UNIVERSE" in the finished shot.
