Hijiri Yajima is one of Kana Koumoto's friends, a model with aspirations to be either a baseball player's wife, or CEO's second wife. She currently works at a karaoke establishment, which her friends make their new hang out, after their main one gets destroyed in the first episode.

In "Grown-up Wannabe," she dates a college student, Toshio Shioya, after apparently refusing the majority of her male classmates advances.
