Ninja Kamui is an original anime that was released in 2024, directed by Park Sung-Hoo (Director of Garo: Vanishing Line, The God of High School, the first season of Jujutsu Kaisen and Jujutsu Kaisen 0), written by Shigeru Murakoshi and animated by the studios E&H Production and Sola Entertainment, for Adult Swim's Toonami programming block and for Max.
On June 12, 2025, while it has one season currently, it was announced to be renewed for 2 more seasons for Adult Swim at the 2025 International Annecy Festival.[1]
Synopsis[]
After escaping his clan and hiding out in rural America, former ninja Higan is ambushed by assassins who exact bloody retribution on him and his family for his betrayal. After the attack, Higan is once again known as Ninja Kamui to avenge his family and friends and sets out to destroy the same clan that created him.
