Rex is the television producer at the network that produces The Mr. Frog Show. Originally, he hires Glep to replace Mr. Frog, because he enjoys his spitting gag, but then immediately turns around and claims it's toxic and asks him to stop it, because the audience will hate it, despite everyone else around him clearly enjoying it. Mr. Frog eats him at the end of the episode.
