Shiny Happy People is a song by the American rock band R.E.M., released as the second single from their seventh studio album, Out of Time. It features guest vocals by Kate Pierson of the B-52's, who also appears in the music video.

Space Ghost wants Michael Stipe to sing the song (Though he calls it "Shiny Shiny People") in the Space Ghost Coast to Coast episode "Hungry," and begins singing it at him, but Stipe refuses because he hates that song.
