Star overhead is the ending theme song to FLCL Alternative, sung by the pillows. The animation uses stop motion animation and consists of a miniature cutout of Kana Koumoto, over a live background, and was storyboarded by Wataru Uekusa, animated by Masanori Okamoto with backgrounds by Hiroshi Sakai.
