Trayvon Martin

Trayvon Martin (1995-2012) was an African-American teenager who was murdered at the hands of vigilantism from Florida man, George Zimmerman in 2012. Zimmerman was tried and acquited of any crime in part to Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law.

Following a decision by a grand jury to not indict Officer Darren Wilson in the murder of Mike Brown, the Adult Swim twitter account posted a photo of Martin and Brown to their twitter account. The tweet received upwards of 5,000 retweets and 4,000 likes before being deleted from the account for unknown reasons.
