Story

I threw the ring at my snake again, watching her crawl to it and bring it back to me. I sighed, how much longer before she tired herself out? It’s been almost an hour.

As she slithered by me the ring, I heard something thump upstairs. I shuttered, anytime I heard something it sure as hell meant something bad. I grabbed Poseidon, putting her in her cage quickly as I hurriedly walked out of my room, closing the door before walking up the stairs.

"HEY, WHO ARE YOU?" I heard Alla shout, gosh dammit. Somebody broke in again, why don’t we move?

BANG

I ducked, was that a gunshot? I started to remember that day, but quickly cleared my mind, I couldn’t freak out now. I heard the shuffling of feet and somebody yelling something.?

"Into the basement, NOW." I stepped down the stairs and back on the ground. I sure as hell wasn’t going to get shot. The door flew open as I noticed a hand I had never seen and Alla and Vik walking down scared, but Alla looked more annoyed than Vik.

"What the HELL is going on now?!" I asked Alla, and she just pointed up the stairs as somebody came down, he had on what looked like something I had seen out of a game I played. He had a mask on covering half his face, only leaving his red eyes and white hair.

"I can have fun with this, but where’s the fourth.." He counted us before I noticed Alreize slowly coming from behind him, sword in hand. The stranger turned around, quickly kicking Alreize in his legs and shoving him down the stairs.

"Ow.." He muttered. I grabbed him making sure he was alright, before he slapped me and got up on his own. What a jerk.

"Boss said he didn’t care how you came, so I’ll have my time with you." What did that mean? He grabbed something from who knows where and threw it down the stairs. When it fell on the floor, it looked like little iron balls. What-

The door slammed shut, and something started to flow out of them. It looked like air, but you can’t see air? Alreize started coughing before he fell on the floor.

"Is that supposed to happen?" It all clicked, this wasn’t just air, this was poison! I grabbed Alla, sorry Vik, and shoved her into a corner. This basement was small, where the hell could we hide? I didn’t want to risk my pet dying, so definitely not my room.

I looked over, well Vik was already dead. I groaned, maybe if I slept through this it’ll be a lot less painful. I heard Alla say something, but it sounded blurry. Is that how you describe it?

I groaned, I felt really tired actually. More than I ever have, what the hell was wrong with me? And thinking was starting to get hard...

I woke up, my head was spinning, and this light wasn’t helping either. Wait, light? I looked up, where were we? I tried to get up, but I was tied down I was right next to Alla. Alla? I felt somebody on me from all sides, it looked like all of us were tied together.

I slightly shook my head on Alreizes shoulder. If anybody could get us out of here it is him. I heard footsteps coming from the darkness. That stranger! He noticed me being awake, uh oh. He came over to me, I tried to get away, tilting my head away but he grabbed my neck.

"Well well, the perro is awake. Say, since your first, why don’t I start with you? The boss said he wanted you the most mangled.." He held a knife to my skull. I winced as I through the would attack, but he took it off and sliced my shoulder. I groaned in pain watching my blood spill from the wound, thank goodness it wasn’t major though.

"I’ll save the fun for when your friends awake, I prefer an audience. For now, let’s play a fun game." I growled and tried to kick at him, but he was too far, yet so close.

"Which limb do you want to be shot off first?" I winced. I already HATED this guy.

I looked over, Alreize had woken up, groaning and looking around confused before he started to try and get out, shaking my chair a bit. The stranger chuckled and walked over to his side.

"Calm down buddy. The name Mictla." I heard muffled screaming. Wait a minute, did this bastard tape our mouths shut? Why didn’t I have one-

Oh right.

"Struggling won’t get you anywhere, tonto." I looked over, why was he gripping his face so hard, and grinning? I groaned, was every damn dude horny for this fucker? Alla woke up, but I quickly yelled at her to stay quiet and act asleep.

"Now, just for the other two to wake up and we can get this show on the road! Don’t worry, I’ll save YOU a special seat." He pointed the knife at Alreize, I think he broke into a sweat. His hands were tied in something shiny, those freaks probably knew what he could do.

Then I had an idea, I looked at the ropes, classic, I chewed through this before when I mauled my killers. I’ll do the same to him, and teach that clown to NOT mess with us again. I bent my head, spilling my tongue out, and started to cut through it.

"Why don’t you guys stay here, I’ll get something to wake the other two up." I raised my head, making sure he was gone before I went back to chewing on the rope.

I heard muttering from behind me and looked around. I could see Vik struggling, and went back to chewing on the rope, spitting parts out as I did. Why wasn’t Alla helping?

"Hey, can you go ahead and transform? I could use the help." I asked Alla. She opened her eyes, and mumbled something, rolling her eyes and closing them. That bitch..

"Okay! Let’s get this started!" Mictla came through the door, carrying a bucket of water. He walked over to Alla first, splashing water on her, some of it soaking my fur, I just groomed myself...

"One up, one more to go.." I bit through the rope, and it fell. I got up and immediately tackled him, the bucket falling on the ground and making a thud.

I felt something cold spreading on my arm and looked down. Was that ice? I bit into his shoulder as I heard him scream in pain, the ice spreading further up my arm making me howl in pain. I got punched in my side, causing me to fall off him. He got up, but not before Alla grabbed him by his neck and squeezed it, hard. Blood spilled from it as he shouted in pain trying to get her off.

I got up and went for his chest I bit into it, tearing parts of his skin. My infected arm dragged behind me as I pushed him back to the ground. Alla stomped on him, but before I could finish him, he was gone.

What?!

I stomped the floor in anger, cursing in my head. They CANT keep getting away with this shit! I groaned and ripped the tape off Alla's face.

"Why didn’t you help me," I muttered. She simply shrugged and went over to help the others. I swear, one day I’m just gonna let them try and escape and see what happens.

I walked over to Vik, he was just staring at me. I grabbed him and pushed him up out of the chair. He stood up, barely touching the ceiling.

"Can we go home now?" He said. I groaned under my breath and started to head towards the exit. Somebody grabbed my hand, and I looked over. It was Alreize.

"Let me thaw your arm out, you might get frostbite." I didn’t even get a chance to reply as he set it ablaze, the ice quickly melting away. I was in awe, Alreize doing something NICE? This was mind-shattering!

"No need to thank me, let’s get going. I’m tired already." He said walking away from me. I shook my hand dry and followed. We went up some stairs, and then out of a shed.?

I looked behind us, how did somebody hide an entire basement in a shed? Whatever. The cold wind blew through my fur as we walked through what I assumed was his backyard. When we got to the front, the house looked pretty old, like nobody lived there.

What made it worse was we had to beg and teach Vik how to teleport us home, and ended up having to promise him to buy him food.

But it was all worth it, I just hope nothing else comes. Hell, what if a tiger came? Or maybe a damn bomb knowing those two? I walked over to the carpet, I needed a nap.
