• 1994-1999 (the Space Ghost/Beginning era): this is when we saw Cartoon Network's first original program called "Space Ghost Coast To Coast", which was also the first program to have Adult Swim's signature humor, with it contributing to Adult Swim's success.

• 2000-2003 (the Pool era): this is when we saw many of the first iconic/classic shows on the block including (ATHF, Cowboy Bepop, The Big O, InuYasha, Sealab, Brak, Harvey Birdman, Home Movies etc.), With a lot of the OG [as] cartoons, reusing various backgrounds from old Hanna Barbera cartoons, and this is when the bumps depicting old people swimming at a pool, was featured, and still remains as one of the most iconic parts of [as], also the shows/seasons in the era, is noticably way tamer than the newer eras.

• 2004-2006 (the Golden era): this is when we see some of Adult Swim's best shows, such as (Moral Orel, Squidbillies, 12 Oz Mouse, Minorteam, Tom Goes To The Mayor, Robot Chicken, Metalocypse, Venture Bros. Etc.), and this is the introduction to the classic B&W text bumpers, and the shows are now pretty edgier compared to the previous era.

• 2007-2010 (the beginning of the Live-action era): this is when we saw Adult Swim having live-action shows, after the Boston bomb scare from promoting the ATHF movie, with shows like Tim & Eric, Check It Out!, Mole Men, Fat Guy, and Delocated etc.

• 2010-2013 (the trippy era), this is when we began to see more creepy/trippy shows than usual, with shows like The Heart, She Holler, Mary Shelly, Off The Air, Informicals and Eric Andre, and this is also when the block's starting time transformed from 10 to 9.

• 2014-2016 (the beginning of the Nature/Landscape bumpers era): this is when they started using nature-based bumpers, but they still used the B&W text bumps but only later at the night, also this is when the block now started at 8pm.

• 2017-2021 (the Rick & Morty era): this is when they're most popular show "Rick & Morty", was fucking huge, it was basically Adult Swim's cash cow.

• 2022-2024 (the dark era): this is when Cartoon Network was dying, and many of they're shows were beginning to air on Adult Swim, same as family movies.
