Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series

Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series is an online web series made by LittleKuriboh, the screen name of Martin Billany in 2006. The series is a parody of the Yu-Gi-Oh animated series, using footage from the series re-edited with Billany's voice dubbed over all the characters. The series was the first in a line of the Abridged Series phenomenon in which other people would employ similar techniques to other animated series.

• At the end of the first episode audio of Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force "Circus" is used, where he excliams "Goofing off Martian Style, Wocka Wocka!"
• At the end of Episode 11 "In America," ends with the text "I think adult swim's gonna sue somebody" as a joke on his use of white text on black background at the end of his videos, in a similar style to Adult Swim's Bumps, though his videos included brackets on all the text, unlike Adult Swim.
• The beginning of Episode 16, "Fanservice," begins with the music from the Dr. Weird segments with a character proclaiming "Gentleman, behold".
• In Episode 25, "Dirty Dueling," a DDR-like game machine plays "I Like Your Booty (But I'm Not Gay)."
• In Episode 28, "Who's That Mokémon?" the character Marik Ishtar is introduced, and when he uses the word "fuck," it's censored to the audio from Coiffio from Perfect Hair Forever. This continues throughout the series.
• Later in Episode 28, audio from Hank and Dean Venture from The Venture Bros. exclaiming "Go Team Venture!"
• In Episode 34, "Dork Side of the Moon," two duelers, Lumis and Umbra are made to be parodies of Ignignokt and Err. They end up defeated when they use their "Quad Laser" card, and Kaiba has Obelisk attack their life points directly. defeating them.
• In Episode 42, "So Long & Thanks For All The Trading Cards," the Egyptian God Card The Wined Dragon of Ra is referred to as "Mega Ultra Chicken," and the monster is summoned by saying "Chicken Arise." This would continue until the episode "Desperately Dueling Susan."
• In Episode 43, "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mai," after Mai's failed attempt to steal Mega Ultra Chicken, Marik steals it back, and as it arises "Dethharmonic" plays.
• In Thr Abridged Movie when Yugi resummons Mega Ultra Chicken, BillyWitchDoctor.Com is pasted into the scene saying his phrase "Chicken arise. Arise Chicken."
